We started Velora Made because reading the back of a plant milk carton shouldn't require a chemistry degree.
In 2022, our founder Mei spent ten minutes in a grocery aisle reading the ingredients on six different almond milk cartons. Carrageenan, gellan gum, dipotassium phosphate, “natural flavors.” Not one of them tasted like almonds — and most of them cost more than the almonds themselves.
So she went home and made it herself. Four ingredients. Fifteen minutes. Better than any carton she'd ever bought.
What we believe
Real food shouldn't need a 12-month shelf life. The best plant milk is the one you made this morning, from ingredients you can name. Our job is to make that as easy as pressing a button.
